x16xe inlet, bigger tracks as standard-fact
power-box
tx auto sport water rail...... well at least i would however so far its 6 days late and apparently there no closer to sending it as they were 3 days ago, 2 weeks they have had so far and originally I was told it would take a week. this is the only thing holding me up....
So for some photos:
Above is the throttle body drilled out to allow fitting ti the power box and a gasket tapped out using a spanner (snap-on of course)
Below is the new inlet off the c16xe as you can see the port measures 20-14,5cm which gives us 55mm port width
Below x14xe head port measures 20mm-15.1-15.2mm which makes 49mm max
Below is the x16xe inlet manifold with part number displayed, this part number is contrary to popular belief LARGER then the x14xe inlet manifold bore, this is not urban myth any more!
Below is the measurement of the x16xe inlet at 20-14.9cm so 51mm this is the flat that butts to the head
Below is the top of the lower inlet manifold if the x16xe is 19.9cm - 15.2cm which gives us 47mm
Below inlet bolted onto the c16 head
EGR blanking plate goes on the shiny bit here as when fitting the power box the throttle body moving up top leaves this open to air, which you don't want....
below is the exhaust ports on the x14xe head.... 15.5cm-20cm so 45mm
c16xe is 15.5cm-20cm so 45mm no difference here......
below is the part number/casting number on the head R90472726 I believe this in the c16xe
Below are the other numbers on the head c16xe
Below is the part number of the exhaust cam in the c16xe R90412756
Below are the numbers for the x14xe R90470271
Other numbers off the head
Part number off the exauhst cam in the x14xe Head R90400098
